BMW's recall because of some problems.

Nowadays, when most people decided to buy their own car, it has a several things that the buyer will concern about. One of those things is the engine of a car. They will concerned that, does it strong enough to durable in bad temperature? Will it work in properly way? Etc. in this following will told you about BMW recall 150,800 vehicles because of fuel pump problems.

According to the news article, they said that BMW of North-America has notified the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of its goal to manner a voluntary recall of some model that issued in 2007-2010. BMWs set with twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engines, all of which feature BMW’s High Precision Injection direct fuel injection system. It also asked for support from the California Air Resources Board to carry out this action. Affected vehicles may experience a collapse of the high-pressure fuel pump. Symptoms consist of long crank engine starting times along with the clarification of the “Service Engine Soon” light. In positive cases, the driver may experience reduced engine performance in a Safe Mode accompanied by a tone and the clarification of the Engine Malfunction” light. Based on the individual service history of the vehicle, the action will involve substitute of the high-pressure fuel pump and/or a software update.

In my opinion, I believe that, BMW will lose a lot of trust because they recall a lot of car back to check the engine. Future customers will decrease their trust on BMW and open their mind to let the other brand to be their choices.
